Flash Operator Panel for Druid UCS
The Flash Operator Panel (FOP2) is a web based switchboard providing you an live interactive view of your Druid UCS phone system.

FOP2 shows all your extensions, call queues, trunks (your inbound and outbound lines) and your conferences. Each extension shows the activity on two lines. You have a variety of features you can use within FOP2 depending on the permissions provided to your user account. The following instructions assume you have all permissions.
Connecting to FOP2
To log into FOP2, go to the IP or hostname of your Druid UCS server with the addition of fop2 at the end:
http://192.168.1.12/fop2
Instead of taking you to the normal Druid UCS interface, this will take you to the FOP2 login. You will log into FOP using your extension or user name (check with your Druid UCS administrator to be sure as to which) and your Druid UCS password. Once you are logged in, you will see a screen similar to the example at the top of this page. Your extension will be at the top and in bold. When activity is happening on the phone system, you will see it happen live via FOP2.
FOP2 Buttons
The top line of the screen starts with a list of buttons which represent actions you can take within the FOP2 interface. Depending on your permissions you may not see all of the buttons shown in the example above. Following the action buttons is the Filter. This is used if your Druid UCS has a large amount of extensions and you need to find a particular one quickly. Simply type in the extension number or label and the matching extensions will be shown. Following Filter is the Dial function. Here you can type in a number or a SIP URI you wish to dial from your extensions. You can also start typing the name of a person that is listed in the Visual Address Book which is the last button across the top. The Visual Address Book contains addresses that can be viewed either by the entire organization or just privately by you depending on how you set the entry. Each Visual Address Book entry has the following fields: First Name, Last Name, Company, Phone 1, Phone 1, Is this entry private or public and finally a picture to associate with the person. Prior to the Visual Address Book icon is the drop down for presence. This is used to let the other users know your current availability.
Below this top line of buttons the screen is divided into two sections, on the left is the Extensions which can be divided intro groups as seen above where a Sales group has been specified to include to extensions and one extension remains in the default group. Each group list has a button at the right end of its title bar that can be used to expose or hide that group. Your choice for showing or hiding a group will be maintained even if you quick your browser and relaunch it.. The right side of the screen is populated by your remaining Druid functions that can be controlled within FOP2. These include Parking Slots, Queues, Trunks and Conferences. We discuss these in more detail below following the discussion of the action button functions.
Transferring a call via FOP2
If you receive a call and would like to transfer that call to another user, first you can see the availability of that user via FOP2. You can see if there are already on another call, and decide if you want to transfer to their voicemail instead. To transfer a call, first click on the extension you want to send the call to, and that extension will then have a red border to indicate it is the selection (see above extension 5026). You now can transfer the call either using the second icon at the top representing a direct transfer of the call or the third icon to transfer the call to voicemail.
Pick up a call
If you see a call coming in to another extension and wish to answer that call, you can select on the extension that is ringing and click the forth icon to pick up the call.
Parking a call
To park a call, simply select the button under the Park Slots and click transfer to transfer your current call to the first call park slot. Anyone can then pick up this call by selecting the parked call they wish to speak with and clicking the Call Pickup button.
Listen and Whisper
If you see an extension is on a call and you wish to interact with that call, select that extension and choose the icon with the ear if you wish to listen in on the conversation without being heard. You also can use the icon with the ear and the microphone if you wish to whisper to the extension you have chosen, but not allow your words to be heard by the other party.
Conferences
You can also transfer calls to a Conference Room extension. Once you have multiple callers in a Conference, if you have permissions you can control the mute feature for each of the callers.
Queues
The list of queues shows which agents are logged into each queue and any calls that are waiting or active within the queue. The amount of time the call has been in the queue is also displayed. Depending on your permissions you can log agents in and out of queues.
Trunks
The Trunks area displays inbound and outbound trunks on your Druid UCS along with active calls using those trunks.
Visual Phone Book
You can add contacts to the Visual Phone Book to make it simple to dial these numbers from within FOP2. The contacts you add can be made public and usable to all users or private to your own user account. Each contact has the following fields available: First Name, Last Name, Company, Phone 1, Phone 2, Private/Public, and Picture. You can import your list of contacts from a comma separated file if you like.
When you use the dial text field in FOP2 and start typing information that matches any of the fields in your phone book, those matching entries will be presented in a drop down menu.
Please note that you should only include numbers in phone numbers, remove all dashes. Additionally, if your telephony provider requires you dial a 1 prior to calling a long distance number, you will need to add that one into your entry in the phone book for that contact.
