Joomla

Joomla is a Content Management System for managing complex interactive websites. Joomla is split between and front and back end. The back end is accessible by the super administrator as well as other administrators and users with more limited privileges. The back end of Joomla gives access to all web pages and other site resources. Joomla comes with a variety of functions built in and can be enhanced with third party additions such as calendars, discussion boards, file download areas and more including very popular Open Source projects such as Gallery. The front end of Joomla uses the template chosen for the site to present a consistent theme for the entire site, specifying font and color settings for your visitors via CSS. Visitors can be guest users, registered users or special users. Each higher user level has rights to view more of the website. The back end page publishing features of Joomla utilize a built-in visual HTML editor similar to using Microsoft Word and very easy to use. Joomla allows you to schedule content to be available on the site starting and ending at particular dates.
