What is SugarCRM?
SugarCRM is a full featured professional Customer Relationship Manager that is operated completely through your web browser. This dramatically simplifies training, installation, and support. The Community Edition of SugarCRM free for unlimited use of all features, including access to online support forums and documentation. If you would prefer direct support, it is available with a year subscription for the Open Source edition or you can upgrade to SugarCRM Professional or SugarCRM Enterprise.
What does SugarCRM offer me?
SugarCRM is meant to act as your primarily daily business tool for operating your business. Similar to how your website is the main interface for your customers to interact with you, SugarCRM is the main interface for your staff to interface with customers, vendors and each other. SugarCRM includes a built in calendar, access to your contacts, sales automation, marketing features and more. Your sales staff will use SugarCRM to track potential leads and opportunities from existing clients as well as from prospects. SugarCRM will track your entire contact history with the sales opportunity including meetings, phone calls, notes, documents, and emails. Since SugarCRM is designed for your entire company, staff members can assign appointments to each other, request others join in scheduled meetings and update each other as deadlines approach for joint projects. In addition to sales support, SugarCRM offers dedicated tools for marketing, support, executive, and administration.
Emails, contacts, and calendar entries can be entered directly within SugarCRM or can interact with Microsoft Outlook for Windows via an Outlook module for SugarCRM or directly from Thunderbird. The built-in email client within SugarCRM features a powerful visual editor that works within your web browser allowing you to create personalized graphic-rich emails faster and more dramatically than possible in your current email client.
Microsoft Word and OpenOffice.org integration allow you to perform mail merge with Word templates from campaign target lists in SugarCRM. Firefox add-ons allow you to search data or insert new records to SugarCRM without even logging into SugarCRM.
Unified Communications
