Rise of the Ultramobile

With the ongoing success of the iPhone and the iPod touch, both which feature a rich multi-touch Mac OS X interface gleaned off of the Leopard code-base look for 2008 to be the year of the Apple Ultramobile. Intel's next generation of processors will drop to a new small cooler and energy efficient yet powerful form factor that can succeed in the demanding world of smart phones and highly portable devices. Expect Apple to regain the market they started with the Newton.
