MySQL and PHP are free software can install to complete your server. In fact, SugarCRM can be downloaded in a configuration for Mac OS X that installs all the needed software including SugarCRM at no cost.

Microsoft Word and OpenOffice.org/NeoOffice integration allow you to perform mail merge with Word templates from campaign target lists in Sugar. Firefox add-ons allow you to search data or insert new records to Sugar without even logging into Sugar.
The product offers email campaign management, project management and document management functions. Flash charts give you dynamic feedback on how effective different sales and marketing campaigns are going. Sugar Professional adds Quoting and Forecasting and Advanced Project Management functions.
