Dual-WAN Broadband Internet PDF Print E-mail

We have all grown to depend on the Internet as a powerful communication and business tool. While this tool provides us an ever growing suite of features and benefits to our daily operations, it has become such a vital part of our workflow that poor performance and service outages can be a major headache and often bring large portions of our operations to a halt.

Sollos can help you maximize your broadband internet performance and reliability. Our solutions focus on secure, high availability and high performance Internet connections for your business needs. You don't have to change the Internet service you are relying on today, we can enhance it with powerful technologies and a second Internet provider giving your company fault tolerance, faster downloads, and traffic shaping capabilities.

If you are currently using a T1 line split between providing voice and data services, you have the most stable Internet service available on the market. However, it is far from the fastest. By adding a second broadband pipe from an ADSL or Cable provider you can maintain your solid T1 line for mission critical communications, email, on-site FTP server upload, and on-site website hosting services while segregating your high demand download applications to your second Internet connection. ADSL and Cable Broadband connections can offer you as much as ten times the download performance as your current fractional T1 connection. This bandwidth can be used to reduce the time it takes to download large files from external Internet FTP servers to a small percentage of the time they take you today. Your second line can also handle all network heavy traffic such as streaming media (web radio, video, instant messaging) and downloading of software updates for your systems.

Sollos employs powerful VPN router technologies that give you full control over both your broadband connections as well as how your internal network users access the Internet services. These routers provide firewalling, traffic shaping, quality of service, and multiple controls for what types of Internet services can be accessed. You can set rules based on particular workstations or by time of day.

In addition, our VPN routers allow you to configure secure connections to your company's resources when you are outside the office. If you need to work on a file after hours or on the weekend, simply engage a secure VPN tunnel to your corporate network and remotely control your workstation on the internal high speed Gigabit network. You have access to all your network's resources including databases, printers as if you were on-site.

Please contact Sollos for more information on upgrading your company's network to a secure and high availability Dual-WAN VPN Broadband connection.
