Summary

Both Switchvox and Druid UCS are powerful business phone systems with exceptional Unified Communications features. Switchvox provides an attractive integrated Switchboard feature with easy to use customizable system features including Instant Messaging and Presence. Druid UCS provides a similar set of features, but lacks the Switchboard functionality. This can be added with the third party Flash Operator Panel to achieve similar results, but without the same level of tight integration as seen with Switchvox. Druid UCS includes unlimited fax functionality and allows for customization of Asterisk configuration files. Integration with SugarCRM and Salesforce turn Switchvox into a powerful productivity solution. Switchvox has a less customizable design but offers exceptional tech support service and regular new feature releases.
